All good until "I need to make happy everyone" so go away.
I went there to watch a football match. Nice choice of beer and snacks, I came 20 minutes before my match to make sure it is streamed. I had enough time to find another place as a backup plan in case they don't stream the match I was interested in.
After 45 minutes I was asked to go away because as their employee said, she needs to make happy everyone.
What happened is that they can only stream 2 different channels at the same time. On the 1st one there was local football team playing and on the 2nd there was my match. Suddenly couple of other people came interested in a thirty game. They were not a lot, just a few. I was alone watching my favourite team and consuming (what is also important to specify).
After the first half I made a new order and stepped away to smoke a cigarette. Once I came back, I was asked to go away. Nice... So disrespectful. Seems like that group would consume more than me alone.
In my opinion, they should have asked me if I agree to leave the table because I was there before that group - first came, first served is not the rule that works here. They could also inform me from the very beginning that such a situation might happen so I would try to find another place. Instead of this they I got a condescending treatment. All I wanted is to watch a game of my favourite...
Read moreReally great bar restaurant in central Verona with amazing food, drinks and a team of staff that deliver superior customer service. Open later than other bars in the area and the high standards are maintained all the time. Very helpful friendly professional staff and kitchen - with a very solid menu delivering something for everyone. Eat at a table or you can sit at a bar, the professional and friendly service makes it a very enjoyable stress free experience. Have a drink off of the menu or create your own chatting with the bar staff. They are always happy to accommodate with a smile. Is slightly away from the main bars and restaurants that front onto the main attractions in Verona, but well worth seeking out if you want to have a relaxing dining experience that is very local and tourist friendly. There are also big TVs inhouse so that you can watch whatever sport you want, but they are very thoughtfully located throughout the venue, so that it still feels like a great Italian bar restaurant and not just a sports bar. Will definitely visit again on...
Read moreThis place was recommended to us by a taxi driver as a good place to watch sport so we reserved a table the day before to watch a couple of euro games, one being Italy Spain. On the day, after the first game we were then asked to pay our bill and leave. I tried to explain that we had been in a day earlier and reserved the table. The booking had been cancelled, no doubt to accommodate locals! Disgusting. One of the ladies did try to relocate us but to rubbish seats under the main tv. The day prior, there was confusion over drinks and what had/hadn't been paid for. Luckily we had kept receipts! Atmosphere wasn't great and some younger locals were very rude and causing arguments with tourists. Good amount of screens for sport, bar service was prompt,...
