Osteria Mondo d’Oro is tucked right in the heart of Verona’s old town, a charming spot for a meal after wandering the historic center. Note for drivers: it’s in a traffic-restricted zone, so plan accordingly if you’re arriving by car.

The menu offered some interesting dishes. The fried veal brain was a unique and intriguing preparation, while the crispy vegetables didn’t quite hit the mark, they were overly dehydrated and lacked depth of flavor. The soft beef meatball was fine, though not particularly memorable.

The first courses, however, were excellent. We especially loved the Tortellini with Parmigiano cheese cream; rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The Lasagna was also beautifully done and deeply satisfying.

Add in a thoughtfully curated wine list and fantastic service, and this Osteria still offers a lovely experience overall. Worth visiting, especially for the pasta...

Micheline Bib Gourmand restaurant in Verona old town by multi-Michelin-starred chef Giancarlo Perbellini. highly recommend to make a reservation. it's such a fantastic meal. their menu seems to change quite often , seasonal dishes , but if any of the below are serving, make sure to try them out .

Tortellini is a popular dish in this region , make sure to try their tortellini with parmigiano cheese cream, it's such a delight, every bite is a mouthful of flavor. Suckling pick is a must have . crispy skin and tender meat the tripe is very good , it's similar to the tuscany but lighter on tomato sauce. it doesnt taste gamey the star of the show is the lasagna, based in a single baking pan and full of meat in each layers. its a very heavy dish.

if you are craving for a good dessert, finish your meal with tiramisu , it's not very big portion and it's fresh...

Definitely worth a visit. This small restaurant has just reopened (March 2014) under new management, who have run various restaurants in Verona over many years. It has a short menu, unusual and interesting wine list and excellent bread. Pasta is made on the premises and there are particularly fine deserts. The high-tech kitchen opens on the restaurant which is great fun to watch. The service is knowledgeable and attentive. Unusual decor with original touches. Perfectly located. Very high quality at very reasonable prices. Will...

We went there for a few drinks and a little snack. The location was quite nice but the service was horrible. All in all we ordered just a salad to share because of the unfriendly staff. After a few minutes we received a half lettuce covered in pepper powder. Surprisingly we paid 25€ for that disgusting Salat which was not written on the menu. At the end they also wanted to trick me and charged 45€ instead of 41€. I noticed it and got the money back in cash. Worst experience ever!
