AVOID THIS PLACE.
-- it's a TOURIST T R A P.
Old food, dry salad, bald taste. Tried to bill us for courses we had not ordered and never ate. Wanted to cheat us by about $20 extra. We tried to address the "new items on the bill" but waiter ignored us. Waiter got cranky when we asked to speak to the manager and told us "he's the manager for any complaints". Ignored us, then verbally went all over the place in Italian and got us worried he will call the police the way he acted up. Eventually we got it settled after he agreed to go through the order and he saw that there was a difference what he had put on the computerized bill vs. what was on the hand written order note (and came to the table). Yes, it was a mistake on his end.
Avoid this place! We went there because we saw three other tables with couples sitting there waiting for food. All were tourists as we realized (too late).
This guy will likely try to fleece you - if you let him. My advice: AVOID.
edit: The next "5-star review" below is the first one from this person with the first two pictures he ever posted. It's a FAKE review I'd guess to fix his rating.
Summary: The food there was BAD. The waiter tried to fleece us by about $20 for courses we didn't order, he got aggressive when we pointed out that he's got things on the bill that we didn't order or eat and now he's adding fake reviews. What does...

Read moreAwful service. I was waiting 25 minutes for a bottle of water and a aperol spritz. The restaurant was almost empty because it was late afternoon. My food came quickly so after the first 15 minutes I decided to go in and ask an old lady with black hair, that I got my food but not my water and spritz. She god a very bad attitude and rolling her eyes at me. I did go outside again and was waiting 10 minutes more. She did not make anything and was cleaning some wine bottles still. The waiter that took my order was meanwhile talking with 2 Italian guests that got a table near the river. Then he finally came down and I told him that I’m still waiting. I said I wish to leave because I didn’t feel welcome. The he started to yell at me and wouldn’t let me go. He kept yelling at me and said I was a stupid person. I was the only guest inside the restaurant so nobody was there to help. I was about to cry because I felt so uncomfortable because he was still yelling at me and saying so many bad words in Italian and still wouldn’t let me go. Finally one of the chefs/kitchen people got out of the kitchen and hold him back so I could go. I’m in my mid 20s only. (I need to give it one star to...
