Trattoria alla Colonna — Restaurant in Verona

Disappointed! We arrived at the place around 8:30pm and it was empty, with plenty of tables available, but the waitress informed that we couldn't take a table in the main room, because all those tables were reserved and she directed us to the back room, which was very hot, next to the toilets, smelling mold and humidity. But during all night those tables in the main room didn't get full. Apparently they push some people to the back without any reason and choose randomly who will sit in the nice part of the restaurant or not! The waitress didn't know the menu and they don't have patience to explain the plates. They were very impolite and didn't care about our requests. The food was ordinary. Nothing special! To finish the night, the restaurant wasn't accepting payments by card, only cash.... that's ridiculous! I don't...

The main thing that attracted us to the restaurant was the prices but we absolutely fell in love with everything there. The place looked very cozy and nostalgic, although if you’re not a fan of calcio (football) you might think it’s a bit much. The staff were super nice and when I tried talking to them in Italian they were really friendly and answered back very politely and slowly enough. The food was great, I would maybe like a little bit more of the spaghetti alla carbonara but it tasted delicious. Other than that we had a wonderful bruschetta, penne alla casa and two glasses of Prosecco. We also wanted a tiramisu but we came a little late and they were already closing the kitchen so we didn’t want to bother. Overall if I could give more than just 5 stars I absolutely...

Cibo buono, di qualità, ma il servizio pessimo! Abbiamo prenotato per una tavolata di 13 persone Purtroppo aspettando che arrivassero tutti siamo entrati nel ristorante in ritardo di 20’ Appena entrati la caposala, signora con gli occhiali, ci ha ricevuto sgarbatamente Urlandoci addosso che eravamo in ritardo e dopo 15’ il tavolo va dato via, dato che ci hanno chiamato più volte senza risposta… Peccato che a noi queste chiamate non siano mai arrivate, infatti poi la signora si è accorta che il numero chiamato non era il nostro, ma era stato segnato sbagliato Sempre MALEDUCATAMENTE ci ha urlato: “Adesso andare fuori che vi preparo il tavolo!” Vi dico solo che tutti i clienti ci guardavano basiti perchè questa signora ci urlava sgarbatamente addosso Mai visto nessuno comportarsi così Al che una volta entrata ho ricordato che siamo clienti e che portiamo lavoro e soldi al ristorante ed essere trattati così perché lei è frustata dal suo lavoro non è corretto Allora si è calmata e ci ha chiesto scusa Peccato che il suo atteggiamento sgarbato lo abbiamo visto anche con altri clienti, che erano entrati con una prenotazione e si sono sentiti dire sgarbatamente che erano ancora in anticipo, dovevano aspettare perché non era ancora arrivato l’orario della prenotazione…. E sottovoce ha indicato il nostro tavolo dicendo che siamo lentini a mangiare…. LENTINI che una volta ordinate le cotolette abbiamo aspettato 50’ prima che le portassero, perché prima hanno servito i tavoli più piccoli…quindi non ci si può lamentare Così poi sempre sgarbatamente ci hanno fatto fretta per alzarci perché alle 9.30 avevano altri tavoli ( e alle 9.15 siamo usciti, senza nemmeno poter perdere un dolce o altro, ci hanno fatto fretta pure per 1 caffè di numero che si era preso solo una persona delle 13 sedute al tavolo) Quindi molto buono il cibo, ma cambiate la caposala Che la gente deve poter venire a sedersi, rilassarsi un attimo dalla frenesia e gustarsi il buon cibo, senza subirsi la frustrazione di una cameriera a cui probabilmente non piace il...
