This is by far the best restaurant we have been to in Verona (we tried 2 others, both had over 4.5 stars on the reviews).
The service is impeccable, our waiter explained the special dishes in great details, so much so that we ordered a first and a second course from the specials. The pasta first course was delicious, it was apparently a Veronese speciality. My daughter had the pasta with duck ragu, again, really good flavour with bite size chunks of duck.
We shared a second course from the specials menu, wild boar stew with polenta. Rich but not overpowering flavour of the wild boar, cooked to tender pieces of meat. Polenta was cooked to perfect consistency. Since we ordered it to share, they split the dish into two plates before they brought it to our table, which I thought was really touch.
We also ordered a side salad and some fried gnocchi to share. We were told by the waiter that fried gnocchi should be consumed like bread, they were puffed up like little pillows. Perfect for soaking up the pasta sauces or stew.
Last but not least, the tiramisu, which was 10/10. The sponge fingers were soaked to perfect consistency and the mascarpone cream had a nice hint of vanilla. Again, we had quite a few tiramisu on this trip, this was the best.
Definitely the most perfect...

In the city center of verona, in a small street that gives the name to the place. Very nice the possibility to eat outside, although very few tables are available in the street. Nice menu with options from the tractional cuisine (as bigoli with duck sauce, cheese from Lessinia, etc). We chose gnochi sbatui (👍really delicious ) and tagliolini with mushroom, also a very good choice. We went for an easy house wine (otherwise it's either glass or a 750 bottle), and that wine was absolutely a nice choice. We enjoyed our dinner a lot since the food was really tasty and the price absolutely reasonable (final check 33.5€ for two). The four stars instead of five just because of a mismatch with the table, since we really wanted to sit outside and there was no table available by the time we got in. This is not an issue of course, but after asking politely and being reassured that we could switch soon, and then soon never happened I got a little disappointed. No big deal, our dinner has been really good anyway and we have been offered a grappa...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Italian restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the food was absolutely superb.
We began with a perfectly crafted tagliatelle with beef ragout—the pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the ragout was rich, flavorful, and tender. Then, we enjoyed a classic liver dish, which was cooked just right, bringing out all its savory goodness. The carpaccio was delicate and flavorful, with just the right balance of seasoning.
To top off the meal, we had the most marvelous tiramisu. It was light, creamy, and the perfect balance of sweetness with just the right amount of coffee flavor. It was the ideal ending to an incredible meal.
The service was impeccable, and the ambiance made us feel like we were truly experiencing authentic Italian cuisine. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone craving high-quality...
