I had a wonderful evening here. Matsubara-san and Okuda-san were amazing hosts, full of great conversation.

The conversation was thought provoking and interesting. I’m very sad that I could only have one night here, they are both very dedicated to their craft and customers. I wish them the very best for the for the future.

If you’re also a foreigner I can highly recommend them. Matsubara-san has a really amazing world view and full of thoughtful topics to converse with. His original cocktail composed of whiskey, lime juice and blue curaçao named left alone was beautifully balanced and delicious, a true artisanal drink.

Having moved to a new location recently, this bar was hard to find and looks rather shady from outside as it's just an alleyway. But, inside, it's quite nice and cosy with good ambience. Unfortunately it did have a strong smell of tobacco smoke.

Drinks were made to order and made well. The bartender here has been in the business for 35 years! Unfortunately, be it fatigue or not, he is not quite as charismatic as other places I've been to.

Strawberry martini was nice but quite sweet. Pegu club, which the bartender had never made before, was strong but good. 2 cocktails for ¥3000...
