If in Kawaguchiko, make sure you don't leave without visiting this place. Run by an old and hearty gentleman, this place is perfect for a meal. We had some fried rice and gyoza and it was the best we've ever had.

The place is easy to miss, so follow the directions and you'll be there. It's a decent space with two 4 seater tables and ~10 counter seats. I would recommend the counter seats to see him in action.

While we were there, he was alone and prepared + served the meal himself. We were surprised to see how the gyozas were made, he made them after we ordered and were cooked to perfection, with the right amount of crisp on the pan without any oil.

Please visit on a cold evening and you'll have the best meal you've had.

We went there in the pouring rain, just to get welcomed in the warmest way possible. A small restaurant with a tranquil atmosphere and a old but really nice owner. The owner is waiter and chef altogether and you get a feeling that ur dining in his livingroom. Surely it’s not as modern and fancy like other places but that’s not something ur missing when ur visiting this place. The food was actually phenomenal und the portions were HUGE. Never been greeted with unwelcoming attitude anywhere in Japan but here. We were polite and they looked like they couldn't care less to serve.
