One of the best tsukemen (dipping noodles) I've had. Very thick and strong flavours, with chewy noodles. If you can't take very strong flavours and heavy meals, you won't like it here. The "yakiniku" grilled chashu sells out fast, so get in at lunch or early dinner. I tried the spicy soup which comes with a chilli powder bomb and at regular spice level 3, it was an enjoyable level for someone who craves spicy food. If you want your mouth to burn, then level 4 or 5 might fit the bill. About ¥1,000-1700 cost per person is very affordable. Atmosphere of the shop is a modern and sleep place which looks great! Service is also top notch. There's usually a short wait of 15 min but could get busy at peak dinner time. Wouldn't mind coming here often if I lived in Fukuoka.

It’s not a big place but the queue moves fast. You order at a ticket machine and move into the seated waiting area in the restaurant itself. Tsukemen (non spicy) had thick chewy noodles with rich dipping broth. This was nice. We added some vinegar for a refreshing combination too! Spicy pork rice bowl was good. It was topped with fried garlic too so the whole bowl was fragrant! But spicy. Next time, I’ll go for non spicy! Overall, not bad. However, what I really fell in love with was the char shu slice in the tsukemen. Tender, not too fatty, with the perfect smoky grilled taste. This was so amazing!!!! Must eat. I want to revisit and just have pork rice with extra extra char siu slices~

For those who don’t know this style of ramen . The ramen and the broth are separated into two different bowl. You dip the ramen into the dipping sauce aka the “broth”. The noodles are nice and chewy. BUT the Chashu is so dry and salty and the dipping sauce is insanely salty without any layer of flavor. There is a kettle of hot water available at every seat to pour into the dipping sauce bowl to dilute the concentration but it is still SO salty. A party of 5 of us waited an hour in line on a Sunday night, very busy. The service is nice and welcoming. I would not recommend this place to anyone. 1700 yen for the photo shown.
