If you are looking for a hearty breakfast, you got to try here.

Reservation: MUST. Don’t bother walking in. Just tap into the google map link and a small deposit.

On Time: MUST. No point coming too early as the restaurants are preparing for next set of customers and all starts together.

At Restaurant: there is a sign to tell you they will welcome you in once the time of reservation reach. So again, don’t bother to go in and ask.

Queue: no need as your spot is reserved and all starts together anyway. Just calmly move in when the staff welcomes all in.

Ordering (breakfast): No need to look at menu as there is only one option. Unless you want to add on…

Atmosphere: Modern, small place.

Payment: Cash, Credit Card. When you are done, just walk towards counter.

Food: Each one will get a set of fish plus your own set of rice.

Grind your own sesame and pour the goma paste entirely into the bowl grinder sesame. Enjoy the fish with the goma taste. I do suggest you keep some of the fish for the chasuzke later. Enjoy the rest with the rice. During half way, the staff will come over and help each pot to scope out the burnt rice! If your pot does not have, the staff will bring it to the kitchen and back with the burnt rice. Once you are about done, you can add the burnt rice or rice, pour the tea in the pot inside and add the mentaiko, the raw fish and some seaweed in. The tea is blend, you can add wasabi or the condiments on the table with some soy sauce or the goma paste. If you can’t finish the rice, the staff will offer to make into a rice ball for takeaway.

The time meal from serving to finish can be as...

I almost don’t want to post this review out of selfishness to keep this amazing place accessible for the next time I am in Fukuoka. This is a fixed meal asagohan and hirogohan (breakfast and lunch) place. They have very specific serving times and you will only be let in when the meal is ready to be served so be prepared to wait in the garden until they open the doors.

First the Atmosphere: this kawaii little restaurant is entered through a beautiful little garden. The inside is very nicely appointed and while the tables are somewhat tightly packed it doesn’t feel at all cramped. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs preparing the meals and enjoy all the wonderful aromas associated with it.

Service: as a Japanese breakfast novice I felt very well taken care of. Though they didn’t not speak much English and my Japanese is mediocre at best they helped my son and I throughout the meal and were extremely kind. The chef even thanked us on the way out.

Food: wow… just wow. The broiled/grilled saba was amazing. The rice in the kiln is outstanding and forms a really nice crust that when mixed with the rice tea and other ingredients is the stuff of dreams. The table made sesame sauce for the mackerel sashimi was so good, my son ended up stealing my extra!! The pickles and mentaiko were really nice and yuzu chile sauce is great.

Bottom line: if you find yourself in Fukuoka and want to experience a truly amazing Japanese breakfast… you should make a reservation and...

I made a reservation through your official app at 8:30 AM. Two days before the booking, I was unable to log in, so I sent cancellation messages via both email and Instagram DM.

You ignored both and marked it as a no-show, charging me the full amount.

When the hotel called on my behalf to ask why the full charge was made, your response was that I should have contacted you at least one day in advance. But I did — two days in advance.

Then you changed your answer and said it had to be by email. When I said I sent an email, you said it had to be via Instagram. Then when I said I also messaged you on Instagram, suddenly it was, 'You need to use the official channel.'

So tell me — if email and Instagram (both linked to your platform) are not official channels, then what is? This is completely unreasonable and...
