This is a great halal restaurant. I chose the set menu, priced at 3,500 yen per person for two people (total around 7,000 yen). The set menu was exactly like the picture on the menu, except for the meat, which was swapped out for a hamburger-style patty (60g) like in the picture (they said it was sold out so they change the meat type). Drinks are not included, but water is free. The set menu also does not include rice.
The motsunabe (hot pot) was absolutely delicious—it was my favorite dish. I visited without a reservation, but I recommend making one if you plan to come on the weekend.
Here’s how the set menu is served: First, they bring out the appetizer along with the motsunabe and start boiling it. The fried chicken comes second, at which point you can begin eating as the motsunabe will be ready. After a while, they bring out the meat. Once they see you've finished the meat, they serve the champon or fried champon (your choice) and add it to the motsunabe, starting to boil it again. They also slightly refill the broth in the motsunabe. Finally, after you’ve finished everything, the dessert is served.
Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here and will definitely return. Next time, I will try to not to order the set menu, as I might find a more affordable/cheap options with only the dishes I prefer.

Read moreIf you're searching for the restaurant serving Halal meat, it's this one. There's another restaurant under the same name just down the street that also serves halal hamburg steak, but that one isn't halal - so just be careful because it does come up on Google Maps when you're searching for it. This branch is on the third floor, and you should be able to see the signboard saying they serve halal meat on the first floor.
This branch serves Motsunabe, but we didn't order that as we weren't sure if we could finish it, so we ordered Wagyu teppanyaki, karaage, fried chicken cartilage and the hamburg steak instead. I personally think the Wagyu teppanyaki is the best choice, taste and cost-wise. The karaage is just alright, and I prefer the cartilage one more, but if you don't like chewy stuff... stop. The hamburg steak offered at this place is on a smaller portion than the one at the Parco branch, with a 60g portion at around 600 yen. You can order as much as you want within the 2 hour time limit (though this may be our case only as we came without making a reservation). The hamburg steak is as good as the Parco one, and you can order rice based on the size you want.
There's more options here than in the other branch and depending on the day and time, there's no waiting line as well....
Read moreSuch a gem. Finding a halal restaurant was such a blessing, especially to be able to try halal motsunabe while visiting Fukuoka and also halal wagyu and chicken! Finally had them all for the first time. I knew that I wouldn't be a fan of motsu but I had to try it anyway. The nabe itself (spicy one) was delicious and the motsu was an interesting texture, I didn't hate it but didn't love it either haha. Still worked out as we enjoyed the soup with veggies and rice. The wagyu hamburg was sooooo incredibly juicy and delicious I was shocked. We ended up ordering a second order of the chicken karaage because it was so good. Beef sausages were yummy too. Only thing I didn't like was the other beef dish, it was a bit tough. All in all a wonderful experience and super grateful to be able to enjoy local cuisine that is halal! The price was also very reasonable (¥10,500 ish for five people!). Thank you for being...
