We went around 2 pm. The owner didn't seem to wan to host us ,but still sat us down. We were "recommended" (or strongly forced to order) the okonkmiyaki with ika chip and green onion as topping. I wanted to order a small dish as the second order, but she again strongly "recommended" me to order a second okonomiyaki. I felt intimidated to say no. We ended up with two okonomiyaki and I was way too full. As soon as we finished our food but still some beer left, she came up to me and wanted me to pay right away. Amazing Hiroshima-yaki, delicious and abundant as well as freshly prepared. The sauce was perfect and balanced the flavors. The price was super cheap, and water is complimentary. As for the place, it is a small restaurant in which there are a couple of tables and some seats in front of the grill, very comfy and cute. Great food in small restaurant. Owner spoke NO English and there was no interest in trying to communicate. So no words other than to give us a choice of udon or soba and then she just started cooking - 4 of us just decided to let her do her thing. She basically made whatever she probably makes for anyone who can’t speak Japanese. Good news it was delicious. If you’re a vegetarian beware bc you will get what you get.
