This place offers servings of ramen/chashu rice/fried rice in small, medium and large. The serving in small is perfect for people that wish to sample more than one dish, but your stomach capacity doesn't allow it. There's no English menu, but the lovely staff here would be happy to assist even though there's a language barrier. Both the ramen and chashu rice are delicious, and are very affordable. I honestly couldn't believe I'm paying less than 1000yen for a small ramen and chashu rice ( since I actually read the menu wrongly, interpreting it as 800 yen for each item ). Read moreI had a wonderful bowl of chashu ramen here today. I'd recommend the small even for hearty eaters (i.e., there was just so much pork). The wait wasn't too long, even on a Sunday shortly after opening. To address some negative comments I've seen about this restaurant, the pork is not preheated when it goes on top of the ramen. You need to push it down into the hot broth to warm it back up. Do that, and all is well. The broth is light but flavorful, and it might be less rich than customers accustomed to Ichiran or Ippudo are used to. No matter your ramen tastes/experience, I'd 100% recommend trying this wonderful and hospitable restaurant on your next visit...

We had 2x standard ramen, with my wife adding onions.
Be ready to use Google Translate lens on menus! Staff was easy to communicate with in English to order.
Thanks again for the...
