My teenage son and I just had a fantastic dinner here. We were the first customers at around 7 pm, and the chef and waitress didn’t seem quite ready for us. However, the white wine and pate de campagne with bread were fantastic. The pate is some of the best I’ve had, and I’ve had plenty in NYC and France. The bread is fresh baked and delicious. The food is made to order which means you may have a slight wait (honestly not much longer than any typical restaurant) but I think that actually helped contribute to the calming atmosphere. I was happy to sip my wine and watch them prepare the food right in front of me.

I absolutely recommend Anitbes for the food...
Read moreOh, let me tell you about this amazing little Italian restaurant I discovered in Kyoto called Antibes! I couldn't get enough! Trust me, I'm already planning my next visit to Antibes because it's just that good. If you're in Kyoto and craving some authentic Italian cuisine, this place is an...
