I had a nice vegan keema curry last year here, thus I went here again. However, although the curry was still nice (though I have a feeling that the pan might have been not clean enough that I tasted a bit of meat), the service was terrible! The two young staff were mostly chatting with each other; one forgot my spoon (but the other one remembered later, so thanks). I can overlook it, but when I paid later and said gochisosamadeshita and the young guy didn’t reply, I repeated by saying thank you. This time, he was already moving away to chat with the girl again. Guys, you should treat your customers nicely, particularly when someone actually bothered to say thank you or gochisosama, or both. I am not sure if the guy was the owner. If he was, he definitely needs to learn some business manners. And yes, I speak Japanese and I try to be as polite as possible, but some politeness in return will be nice too. One of the worst dining experiences of my life in Japan. Having been to Japan more than 10 times, I did not expect to spend 2000yen on a plate of curry and and to leave disappointed with not just the food but the service staff. Japanese service is normally fine if not exceptional - but this store left so much to be desired.

Firstly, upon entering the store, no one bothered to greet me, and instead stared at me awkwardly like I shouldn’t be there. Secondly, that lady with the short pink hair should not be receiving customers if her face is black all the time - from entering the store and making the bill.

Best meal so far in Japan. Each entree served on a bed of fluffy basmati rice with onion coriander pickled radish ginger garnish. Can be ordered in 4 sizes - we got one size down from largest. Was too much for my 11 year old, just enough for my wife, I think l could have eaten more but didn’t need to. Food was amazing - we got a vegan vegetable keema curry, tomato shrimp, and spicy lamb. All were great but the lamb and keema for me were the standouts. Lamb was rich and spicy. Keema so good I couldn’t believe it was vegan. All ingredients super fresh clean and vibrant.
