I would give Cafe Planet five stars but: for some, the vegan gluten-free is an obvious attraction. Otherwise, the menu is limited in the extreme: an overpriced salad, a few tasteless, small, overpriced pizzas (sorely in need of spices, at least salt, pepper, or Tabasco, none of which were available). The space is gorgeous, open, and airy, with nice views of the river. As one person wrote, a nice place to curl up and read a book. OTOH, the dog and baby-friendly atmosphere might be appealing to some, but sharing an eating space outside of my own kitchen with dogs, their bowls, fleas, and toilet needs doesn't help my appetite. Ditto with diaper changing in the restaurant. I too vote for some tasty konbini food and drink sitting...
Read moreDelicious pizza, pasta, salad, desserts and drinks. But the biggest stupidity of this place is the time limit for ordering food. The cafe introduces a schedule for ordering different dishes. You can't come for breakfast and order pizza from the menu, only after 11, and at lunch you can't order breakfast items. You can't order pasta or a burger for dinner either, because that's for lunch. Why do you restrict clients and force people to eat according to your stupid schedule? whoever came up with this has absolutely no understanding of business and there is no logic here. You are losing money. make all food on the menu available all day, remove those stupid time...

The "vegan salad" (aren't most salads naturally vegan?) was tiny and 1000yen (it was more like a side salad you get with a set meal at most cafes rather than a main dish) and they had sold out of half the other dishes the day I went.
Also, the milk tea tasted like water - learn how to brew tea or just leave the bag in and I'll do it myself.
I would have been better spending a few hundred yen and getting a salad and drink from the conbini and drinking that by the...
