This restaurant really surprised me. I went in with relatively low expectations because I just wanted to try some duck, and I was surprised. I was completely surprised by everything I tried. I tasted incredibly good. I tried so many things in the shop and it was just good. I can recommend so many things in the shop and I will definitely go back. I have to go back. It really was an experience. I ate such good duck like rarely in my life. Wonderful dumplings and gyoza. I ate unbelievably good pork meatballs in caramelized sauce like never before in my life. Sadly, we came to kyoto and didn't know what to eat because majority of the food on this street are traditional Japanse food by courses , top it off the menu are in Japanese and we can't read it ... So we ran in to this Chinese restaurant and saw bunch of ducks inside. They also have it by courses but as well as by plates. We had few small plates of seafood spring rolls and hot and sour soup, sweet and sour prawns and squids and mixed mushrooms. The price was of course expensive but not as much as courses . We were led up some stairs and taken into the dining area decorated with amazing antique furniture that I was quite taken with.
