From the moment we approached, the owner's exceptional hospitality was evident. Despite it being a day when the restaurant was typically closed, she graciously opened her doors to welcome us—a gesture that set the tone for the extraordinary experience that followed.

If you are considering whether to reserve a night here please save yourself any further research because ENJO is a once in a lifetime joy that I truly wish everyone to have. I found reservations to ENJO through table-check. I saw the reviews and thought what a great way to celebrate so many things that were firsts for my partner and I especially his birthday. What I didn't grasp was the care that went into this night from strangers who then felt like dear friends by the end of our dinner. The hospitality is unmatched and a true art that they have mastered. ENJO astonished us both away. We audibly gasped at multiple parts of the meal! They had such a special surprise for Raven so please do notify them in advance of any special occasion you are celebrating. The attention to detail paired with the whimsical nature of this experience truly made our trip. I do not want to spoil all of the delights that ENJO has to offer because it's really something you have go experience if you are anywhere near Kyoto! I almost don’t know where to begin. Enjo transcends the traditional dining experience and rivals, if not surpasses, any of the best restaurants in the world. Anthony and Candy have created something truly special: an environment in which you can enjoy the finest food and drinks while feeling right at home. My partner and I were lucky to have the restaurant to ourselves. Anthony was the perfect host and Candy an all star chef - both extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. Their passion is evident in every aspect of the establishment. The food is out of this world and prepared with such care. The sake pairings were no less than perfect and the most delicious I have ever had. Their whiskey selection is unparalleled. The wine and champagne are top of the line.
