Staying at an apartment in Kyoto, I couldn’t help but notice this little shop right across the street. Every day, as I passed by, the delicious aroma would draw me in, and I saw fresh eels swimming in their tanks, ready to be prepared. Finally, I gave in to the temptation and bought some of their unagi along with a small fish side dish. The taste was absolutely incredible—so fresh and flavorful! This shop is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area. You won't regret it! The lady was really nice and friendly. She was very helpful to help me select the correct coins for the amount required.
