Rinn Kiyomizu Gion — Hotel in Kyoto

The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes walk away from the heart of Gion and a 10 minute walk away from Gion-Shijo station. We booked the deluxe queen room which was very small and doesn't have much space at all for big luggage or to store clothes, only a few hangers. The room felt quite claustrophobic and the windows didn't really offer much fresh air. The bathroom is also pretty small but there is a separate bathtub and shower which is nice. The air conditioning didn't work for a bit during our stay which was annoying as it was in August, but the reception staff very helpfully sorted it out.

The entrance is nice and well decorated. The staff are friendly and providing a good level of service. If you want to book a restaurant or any other info, they are helpful.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped with a coffee machine, water cooker, etc..

The bathroom is big enough with showerplace and all needed accessories and clean.

They don't provide breakfast, but there's a nice place ( SAGAN) 5 min walk to have breakfast.

As I raised the location, it is very good to go go to the city to find a coffee, restaurant, or ice cream and also to walk or take a taxi to historical places.

The staff at Rinn Kiyomizu Gion deserve an award! They were always very professional and incredibly considerate and kind. They would recommend me restaurants and cafes to go to and wished me a happy birthday. This is in addition to always greeting me with a smile and greeting when I was coming or going and were always helpful with whatever questions I had. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was situated in a quiet neighborhood that was also an easy walk to the more thieving areas of town. Would highly recommend this place and would stay...
