So far, and very likely, THE BEST espresso in Kyoto. "Italian" style darker roasts, nutty/ chocolaty flavours, silky smooth. Beans from Africa and Asia - no Latin America, which is a shame as I think Costa Rica or Honduras would really elevate the offer. . Take away or stand-by coffee, seating is limited. Amazing coffee done how it should be whichever way you want it.

The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was excellent. Chatted with some other people while we were there too.

The barista really knows what he’s doing. My only issue is that they’re not open early...

Well there are almost no other coffee places around here. Came here as I came also to the best vet clinic in Kyoto, and nice shopping for fruits, veggies and fish Very friendly towards foreigners. It is really only about coffee though - food choice is very...

Loved this one-man operated shop. Limited seating but the main thing to go for is COFFEE! He roasts his coffee in the shop in small batches. Glad to have found his shop while hunting for coffee places near the railway museum. Will go again if possible!
