Food was delicious flavors but really bad portions. Palak paneer just had 2 small pieces of paneer and then just sauce, chana masala small amount of chickpeas, cheese naan just cheese in the center, then just bread. I told them about the lack of paneer on my plate and they answered that’s the portion. I go to Indian restaurants looking for vegetarian proteins, but here I got full just dipping the bread in the sauces, and had to have protein shake after. I've had the butter chicken with garlic naan and rice. The flavour of both the garlic naan and the butter chicken was amazing. It was the definition of taste of those two dishes. Sauce was really creamy and the chicken was perfectly tender and you can taste the char on it. I do think they should add some more chicken pieces to the butter chicken since I feel the portion of meat is a bit less for the price than in other restaurants. We LOVED our meal at Gojo Mahal!! Conveniently located near Kyoto Station this small restaurant was a short walk from our hotel Dusit Thani. The prices were very reasonable and the food had lots of flavor. We tried the Chicken Tika Masala, Chicken Biriyani, Sag Panner, and Tandori Chicken, and Cheese Naan.
