Made a booking on google for this restaurant. Came recommended from a local television show and decided to try it! The ordering process is all online and in English, you can also pay online. Once ordered, there’s an electric steam in front of you and they will arrive tapas style, small plates of tasty food. We ordered the Xiao long bao and it cooked in front of us as they make it fresh in store. The skin is some of the best I’ve had in the world. The fillings does have a Chinese flavour to it and once again the Japanese have master a cuisine other their own. The skin of the hargow was also clear and it was nice and chewy but not too thick or soft. The carb element we had was the dandanmien, it was great as well, not too salty and the noodles were freshly made. Their menu also has English so there’s no need to even speak to a waiter. There’s no room for a pram especially when it gets busy and you need to go upstairs. All in all, for a Chinese restaurant in Kyoto with caliber of food really is worth of a try if you crave some Chinese food...
