McDonald's - Shichijo Keihan — Restaurant in Kyoto

A McDonald in front of the Shichijo Keihan Station. It’s 24h open. This is a bit distant from any tourist places and busy streets and that’s why it’s not so crowded and cozy. I particularly feel this McDonald is super useful because you can come back here from busy tourist places like Shijo or Gion or Kiyomizu, and you can visit there again, by bus (particularly bus 206 is useful)in 10 minutes. As you know, restaurants and foods are super expensive and super crowded in these tourist places like Shijo, Gion or Kiyomizu in Kyoto. Perhaps you need to wait for 30-30 minutes to get foods and you need $15-30 per person there. Then actually, even when we pay for the bus, it’s cheaper to come back here to have a burger or 2, and go back to explore these...

I was travelling in Kyoto and needed a break from Ramen brunch every morning 😝, found this McD near my hotel. Very friendly and efficient staff who accommodated me trying to order in English 🙏 - easy to order by just pointing on their menu as well. Sausage McMuffin was delicious, different from what we have in Malaysia (not bad either) as I guess this is pork-based. Coffee is acceptable. As travelers from US, McDonald is not on our list. However, we decided to check it out. We were surprised by the menu offering and the choices we made. We enjoyed the local dessert offering and the shrimp burger. Great job delivering surprises! Sadly, they need to improve on the ordering and fulfilling the order quickly.
