This place is a hidden gem. It is a super cute small restaurant with four seats from where you can watch your food being prepared by the very friendly owner and a traditional tatami room. We were having Hiroshima style okonomiyaki on the tatami, which were exceptionally tasty. Unfortunately we were in a hurry to catch a train, so we couldn't try the homemade pudding. I also want to point out that the homemade iced tea you are served for free is really good as well.

Lovely little okonomikyaki shop. Only four seats in from of the cook, super cozy. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English. The okonomikyaki was perfect, with plenty of cabbage and noodles cooked just right. You can choose which type of sauce you want on top and whether to add mayo.

No doubt that this is the hidden gem in Kyoto. When I looking for lunch, I found this restaurant and on that time I want to eat Okonomiyakin too. The inside is small but fill with warm welcome and friendliness from the shop owner. The Okonomiyaki was great! 😊

We just had a wonderful meal that was just divine. The four of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, were greeted warmly in this cozy and intimate little gem. Watching our food cooked in front of us using authentic and traditional methods was memorable. Thank you was a fantastic dinner...
