It's a bit strange to enter a Cat Hotel as a cat owner. You are not allowed to play with the cats, you are not allowed to pick them up (logical). It remains strange for me to pay around 6 euros per person to walk around for 30 minutes. You can clearly see that the cats are constantly alert, big-eyed, very nervous and only concerned with the other cats. You notice very well that these cats want to play. So the drawstring of my sweater was the distraction for two of them. They clearly lack real attention and play. After playing with the string for 1 minute, an employee warned that that was not allowed. Unbelievable to me. I think these cats are full of stress and tension. This cat cafe visit was a delight! I love checking out cat cafes, and this one did not disappoint. The staff suggested purchasing the wet treat, which the cats prefer, so I did just that. After slipping into provided slippers, I entered the cafe. As I settled in with the treats, several cats eagerly gathered around, and we enjoyed a playful treat-sharing session. The cafe was spacious, offering plenty of room for the cats to exercise and various toys and entertainment options for when they needed a break from napping. I visited here last night for my first cat cafe while traveling Japan! The staff was very kind & helpful in explaining things, and they have rules + pricing in both English & Japanese! The atmosphere is adorable, very cute and relaxing! The cats seemed very happy and well taken care of, which makes me glad to support this business! I really liked that the cats seemed to have hidden spots to go to, so if they didn’t want to interact with customers, they didn’t have to. The cats were very sweet and playful! I recommend purchasing your time slot with the cat treats, as this made the cats warm up to me very quickly!
