Robbins Bar — Restaurant in Kyoto

My experience at Kyoto Robbins Bar was absolutely fantastic! I had the pleasure of meeting Naoki and Hiroki, the owners and talented bartenders, and they truly made our nights memorable. Both of them are incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. Their English communication is excellent, which made it easy for us to chat and learn more about their stories and drinks.

We visited the bar on two consecutive nights during our trip to Kyoto, and each time was a highlight of our stay. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the quality of drinks and service is top-notch. Naoki and Hiroki genuinely care about their guests and creating a great experience, and it shows in everything they do. Tried to get a seat at trendier bars across the river but it was so crowded. I had seen this bar when we were walking to our hotel so we decided to try it out. We had some of the best cocktails on our trip here and they were much less expensive than the trendy bars. I had a persimmon liqueur cocktail that blew my mind (maybe it was called Christopher Robbins?) and then the Charlie Chaplin which was also fruity and delicious. The whisky selection was also big and they had a somewhat rare Irish whisky that my partner loves.

The bartenders were so friendly and all wanted to know about our trip and we chatted about america as well, it seems they all spoke very good English. The rest of the customers were all Japanese locals so the vibes were calm and pleasant. If we are ever back in Kyoto we will...

Me and my boyfriend visited Kyoto in May. Robbins bar is such a lovely experience!!! Excellent cocktails and vibe. Hirocki (Rocky) was so kind to us!! Amazing service and we felt very welcome. It was our go-to stop every night after exploring Kyoto. Would definitely recommend! I miss Robbins bar dearly and would go back in a heartbeat. Until we meet...
