The most disgusting thing I have tasted not in Japan, but in my life💀. I got a bowl of rice with "grilled chicken and a soft boiled egg". To start with the chicken....it tastes of fish because of the nori and it's soft enough to make me doubt it's actually meat. The egg is supposed to be "soft boiled"....more like undercooked. The soft part should be the yolk, not the white of the egg. The free water was pretty ok, but I doubt I could feel a bad taste after the bowl I'd had. I also got a milkshake. I came in with two other people and our total amount came out to less than $15 CAD. In Tokyo, the staff can understand some English, but in Kyoto, the staff was a but more limited in understanding. You go in and sit down at an empty spot and then you order from the tablet that has English menu available. They brought me a cup of water while I was ordering. After placing your order, you will have your food in just minutes.
