There were four of us visiting for dinner (and two small children who werenโt eating), and we chose the highest โexcellentโ course, all you can eat plus all you can drink added on. We got our first round of drinks, 3x small plates of meats, and sides, then upon ordering more meat, it did not come out.
My partner speaks Japanese and we asked wait staff after waiting the first time for around 20 minutes if there was a mistake and the meat hadnโt come out. They said they would be back. I tried to order more dishes again: all sides and drinks came out but no meat again. We asked another 3 times, to 3 different wait staff where the meat was, but still no more was brought out. We had a booking from 6-7:45pm. I finally tried to order more again, which would have been maybe 10 plates of meat, maybe more by that stage, and it didnโt come. On the last minute I called another staff member over and she brought us 2 plates of meat. I am not sure where it went wrong, as it was a QR code to order and we had a whole order list with many plates of meat that said โorderedโ that never came. Because we were waiting for the meat the whole time, we didnโt get to order desserts. Also wasnโt a language barrier with us speaking Japanese. It is a shame as the restaurant atmosphere appeared fun, but I...

ย ย ย Read moreThe overall dining experience was great. I think this restaurant is underrated. We dropped by without the reservation in advance. The staff asked to wait for a while until we were seated on the 4th floor as the house is full of packed. We ordered 2 excellent courses with almost one kilo of Beef from excellent menus. The meat was fresh, tender, less fatty and tasty. They also provide a cheaper version of All-you-can-eat courses. The staff were willing to help when I asked questions. This is really helpful. Thanks to the Japanese (Kyoto) hospitality. This restaurant is where most locals visit during the day. The price is competitive because the menu provided is really worth it. Very recommended. The downside is the smoky room. The owner needs to find a solution to minimize the smoke and...
