I really enjoyed this gyudon bowl, and my son thought it was the best he'd had of the big three. The miso on the side was appreciated, and the flavour of the bowl itself was great. The staff were efficient and friendly. My only reservation about Matsuya was the ordering terminal. It was a little confusing because you could switch it to English, but it would switch back to Japanese after a minute or two. First time was ok I liked the food & friendly staff. So I returned 2nd time around 11 AM but the staff which is a middle aged,chubby & short woman at the pick up station was rude. Maybe because I wasn’t able to pick up my food right away? She keeps on pointing at me then at my food while saying something then literally shoved the soft boiled egg in my tray.
