This is a late review but well worth it. We were told about this restaurant from cousins who had traveled here a month or so prior to our trip and absolutely raved about the chef, service, and food! We chose to do the the Special Omakase course, which was just over 100$ per person. This was easily the best meal of my life. I've been to Michelin starred Omakase's in NYC and ATL and this rivaled them both. What puts it at the top was the fun personality of the chef, the extreme attention to detail, and the fact we were the only two in the small shop the entire time! Not only was the omakase menu amazing in taste and visuals, the chef is knowledgeable and explains the dishes well, as well as the sake pairings.
It's very helpful to have an English speaking chef as it adds depth to the experience. We not only had delicious sushi but learned about Osaka sushi, people and culture!
