We visited this cafe thanks to my friend's recommendation. She even said it's necessary to line up in front of it, because it's so popular. Customers who came later had to wait really long. There aren't more than 7 or so tables. I'm not sure about its authenticity, but it's supposed to look like an English country cafe. The cakes were all very delicious, cream cakes are fluffy and the berries are fresh and sweet, everything is light, be sure not to overeat. I enjoyed the tea even more. The number of options is so large you'd be lost in choice. There's hardly any information in English, you can choose the cakes by their looks, but as for tea, you'd need help. We also ordered sandwiches, but were shocked to see 4 large sandwiches in a plate as a standard portion. Luckily we were allowed to take them out. I really think the size should be mentioned somewhere. In general, I enjoyed my visit very much, but I wouldn't line up...

I ordered the chestnut and walnut tart with a pot of Earl Grey tea—it was absolutely delicious, and the tea was one of the best I’ve ever had. I loved that they brought a full pot of hot water for refills, a thoughtful touch that made the experience even better.
Yes, there can be a bit of a wait on weekends, but once inside, the pastries, the fine selection of teas (over 40 to choose from), and the elegant setting make it completely worth it.

Read moreA bit crowded during pandemic. Inconvenient when paying as it only accepts cash. I had an afternoon tea set of 1 choice of drink 2scones with 2 types of jam and clotted cream and choice of cake, ham cheese and cucumber sandwich. The milk tea i had was ok. The almond scone was perfect freshly baked, it was served warm, the texture was soft airy and crumbly. Chocolate ship scone wasn't to sweet which i prefer. I was underwhelmed with my choice of mixed berry cake. It's a usual soft Japanese spongecake. The cake itself lacks taste though the berries were fresh and was a delight. The sandwich is also a delight, if you are used japanese style of ham that is subtle and taste. It would have been great if they had an outside dinning area since they are in...
