Tourist trap with passable food at best and service non existent! You’re expected to cook expensive cuts of beef yourself. Not helping is the waiter blasting the gas stove on high, telling us to grill each slice for one minute. The meat was barely on the grill for 20 seconds and it completely burnt. We had to enquire for him to turn down the stove.. Wait staff are also not handy, they stand around outside talking to each other rather than attending to your needs, even had to walk near the kitchen to get their attention - I needed a pair of scissors to trim off all the bits off my charred wagyu beef. At this point i’d expect the wait staff to come enquire how/ why I’d need scissors, instead they just handed me and didn’t even look into the room to check on us. Also, I gave a feedback to the front facing chefs that I just wished the meat was cooked for us, they would have honoured the beautiful cuts much better with their chef skills, the waiter translated it in his lazy, slow meandering way and all of them smirked. What weird standard of Japanese treatment! Waiter had afro and probably a foreign student but chefs were Japanese! Horrid service and you leave smelling like oil! One redeeming factor is the clean and nice smelling toilet,...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was a truly memorable experience for any meat lover. What makes this place stand out is their dedication to quality—purchasing whole cows from renowned nationwide brands, including Kobe beef, and preparing the meat only after an order is placed. The result is meat that is exceptionally fresh, tender, and full of rich flavor.
The owner’s philosophy of offering the best quality meat at the most reasonable price really shines through. They focus on female cattle, which provide a softer texture and a clean, melt-in-your-mouth taste that feels both luxurious and satisfying.
I highly recommend trying the Ikko Mori, a beautifully curated platter of five of the day’s best cuts. My selection included sirloin, Wagyu harami, special ichibo, chateaubriand, and special uchihira—each piece expertly prepared and distinct in flavor and texture. It’s the perfect way to experience the variety and craftsmanship the restaurant offers.
Whether you’re a wagyu enthusiast or simply want to enjoy an unforgettable meal, this restaurant delivers on both quality and value. A must-visit for anyone who...
Read moreA rainy night in Osaka calls for sizzling, comforting BBQ, and Itto Yakiniku in Namba is a must-visit spot for meat lovers. We ordered their signature “Ikko Mori” set, which includes 6 different cuts of premium beef and 1 chicken selection. It’s a full-on carnivore feast!
Each type of beef has its own texture and flavor, from richly marbled cuts that melt in your mouth, to tender, juicy slices that char beautifully on the grill. The chicken is also tender and flavorful—perfect as a light contrast to the beef.
The staff are polite, professional, and happy to explain the best way to grill each meat. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy a satisfying meal.
There’s just something magical about eating freshly grilled wagyu while rain taps against the window—this was a truly soul-warming dinner experience. Add Itto Yakiniku to your...
