Joto curry Nippombashi-BR — Restaurant in Osaka

Typical Japanese cheap resto with minimal server. The store was manned by a single worker who had to greet customers, process your order, clean up and whatnot. Its no wonder if you catch an occasional tired face of his.

Overall the curry served was delicious, the cutlet was fine and each order were timed so that they were cooked evenly. My only complain was that the chicken cutlet was kinda pricey considering you are only getting 3 small pieces of it, as a chicken lover, i will just order pork cutlet as it seems like i am getting more value.

Overall i will come back again as the curry was truly delicious

Came in here off the street on a whim and turned out to be one of my favourite meals in Japan. Super simple - I got the pork cutlet with curry sauce and rice and oh my god. Was so delicious. And only ~700 yen. I went to other similar restaurants after I had this trying to replicate the experience… and none of them compared!!! It’s a real traditional restaurant also. One staff member who does everything, and you order through the machine out front. Really recommend I am dreaming of it...

Low cost, fast service, convenient location, and good taste. Additionally, this store is open later than other restaurants in the area. This is one of the best late dinner stores in the area.
