Stop looking for burgers in Osaka and EAT HERE! We were pleasantly surprised to see the hours on Google maps was wrong and we could eat here on our stroll through the market. English and Japanese menus were available and the four burger options are simple yet delicious. We had the Kuroman and the Keema Burgers. Both were good it very different. The Keema burger fell apart meticulously and was a perfect combination of the two things I was craving for lunch! The Kuromon is your typical cheese burger but their sauce was a nice touch and together with the slightly toasted grain bun, was a nice change from the mixed meat typical Japanese hamburg.
We topped it all off with a blue Hawaiian shaved ice. The ice was shaved fine enough to absorb the flavor but not to fine that it melted so quickly.
The ladies working were very patient and kind. Sadly, a customer bought her 7 yo daughter a shaved ice and the young girl quickly turned it upside down on the table. The family of three sat and watched it melt until it almost dripped off the table but then hurried to leave, relieving themselves of apparent responsibility. This infuriated me due to the lack of manners and respect but the lady working politely thanked them for their business and promptly cleaned it as they scurried out.
GREAT value for a Burger right in Kuromon market. Would definitely return and...
Read moreI came all the way from Nagoya to Osaka because trying halal burgers is one of my hobbies. I’ve traveled around Japan, including Tokyo and other cities, searching for halal burger spots, so I was really excited to visit this shop.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed to learn that the burgers here are not truly halal. When I asked the staff, they kindly and honestly told me that the meat they use is not halal certified. They simply do not include pork or alcohol in the burgers labeled as “halal.” I really appreciate the staff’s honesty and gave five stars for that reason, honesty like this is rare and deserves recognition.
However, I want to warn fellow Muslims: the meat is not halal, and if you’re someone who only eats properly halal-certified food, please be aware before ordering. I also want to highlight something important, Muslims who are okay with burgers that have no pork or alcohol will still come and eat here even if the word “halal” is removed from the menu. But for those of us who follow stricter halal guidelines, this label is very misleading.
I kindly request the restaurant to either start using halal-certified meat or remove the “halal” label from the menu out of respect for Muslim customers who are trying to follow their religious beliefs properly.
Thank you again to the staff member for being open and honest. That...
Read moreI had breakfast here two mornings in a row. It’s a burger restaurant with a rating of 4.9. The kids went to enjoy all kinds of fresh seafood. I always eat light, especially breakfast. The first and most important thing when traveling is safety. Don’t risk gastrointestinal discomfort "For the sake of delicious food, we are not afraid of life and death." Yesterday I was greeted by a middle-aged hostess. Although she didn't know much English and could only converse in Japanese, she still showed the elegance and friendly attitude of Japanese women. Today is a holiday, and the young sister came on stage. Her fluent English and friendly and lovely smile made today's business a lot better. When I saw my sister's beautiful manicure, I couldn't help but praise her. Unexpectedly, I got a "special tongue-sticking grimace burger" and a free "Taiyayaki". I couldn't help but take a photo with her and thank her A breakfast sets you up...
