Matsuya Osaka Honmachi — Restaurant in Osaka

Great place for a cheap quick bite of food. It was late at night (after 9pm) and all of the nearby restaurants we looked at were closed but thankfully this place is open 24 hours.

Upon entering we used the touchscreen console to order our meal sets and pay. Then we gave the ticket to the employee and sat down. Hot tea was provided immediately along with a bowl of delicious soup which came with our meals. I ordered the regular size portion of curry rice and I was impressed how quickly the food was served to me. It was a little spicy, I am more of a fan of the sweeter and thicker Japanese curry, but it was still a good flavor.

While I've had better food at other restaurants, you can't beat the cheap price of 300yen and...

The Bim Bim Bowl is out-of-the-world to me. The soft egg mixed with kimchi, seaweed and pieces of pork complete with upgrade to pork (Tonjiru) soup, I can eat this all day! I went back almost every night for supper (x 3 times)!

Tried the beef bowl, kimchi toufu soup(seasonal), bbq beef and kimchi bowl: all average.

Above all: every meal is cheaper than ramen, almost same or cheaper than...
