Read moreI was excited to try this place with all of the great reviews and photos but was turned away at the door. Staff said no at 6 in the afternoon with the restaurant less than 20% full. No explanation other than arms crossed. Lots of empty seats at the bar and tables. I work here, I am polite, I am learning the customs and know some language, and am respectful. I understand you aren’t comfortable with foreigners and some places turn them away, but get over it. Let people try and learn. Read moreVisited here during Obon vacation. We made a reservation for 12pm, but the place wasn't that crowded. The atmosphere is modern and nice. Definitely would be better as a night eating spot. They have a two food, two drink rule for each person plus a 600 yen table charge, so it ended up being a little pricey for lunch in the end.
