Homemade duck ham and seasonal vegetables pizza (¥860): Smoky duck ham and seasonal vegetables are lavishly sprinkled on the crispy outside and soft inside dough! 100% duck menchikatsu (¥250/piece): Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, these 100% duck menchikatsu are addictive! I was excited to try this place with all of the great reviews and photos but was turned away at the door. Staff said no at 6 in the afternoon with the restaurant less than 20% full. No explanation other than arms crossed. Lots of empty seats at the bar and tables. I work here, I am polite, I am learning the customs and know some language, and am respectful. I understand you aren’t comfortable with foreigners and some places turn them away, but get over it. Let people try and learn. It’s almost 2020 and you’re country’s economy relies heavily on foreign visitors eating in your restaurants and buying your products. Time...

Visited here during Obon vacation. We made a reservation for 12pm, but the place wasn't that crowded. The atmosphere is modern and nice. Definitely would be better as a night eating spot. They have a two food, two drink rule for each person plus a 600 yen table charge, so it ended up being a little pricey for lunch in the end. The duck patty burger is pretty good, and the buns were buttery and toasty. The potato salad was also really good. The craft cola had a subtle cinnamon taste to it and wasn't amazing but was good. I am confused reading the bad reviews as this is one of places in Osaka where I want to make a special effort for the review to thank them. Firstly, we've arrived with no reservation and were warmly welcomed, the waitress and the cooks were very nice and gave us their phone to translate the menu as it was all in japanese. The food is very much oriented to the duck, though there are also other options. It was a very nice evening and having ordered more than 7 dishes we've ended up with a very reasonable and surprisingly small bill.
