Shinpachi Shokudō Nanba Nankaitōri — Restaurant in Osaka

Hands down THE best, most value for money breakfast set I’ve ever had! Would return without hesitation. I don’t know why more people aren’t raving about this yet!

For breakfast you’re able to select from a variety of set meals (salmon, mackerel, sardines, and pork) which comes with rice, miso, and some pickles. You can also add on other sides which are priced very very reasonably. I added nearly every single side (recommended if you’re sharing, but probably not if you’re alone haha). Every side was awesome. I honestly could not find a single dish I disliked. Natto was slimier than usual, which made abit of a mess as I was eating - but still yummy as usual. Fish is freshly cooked on the charcoal grill after you order, unlike some other breakfast places where it’s pre-cooked and you need to use a microwave. Tasted fresh and juicy and seasoning was perfect.

Prices are incredibly reasonable for breakfast - all you see in that picture totalled 759jpy! Cheaper than a bowl of ramen and so much yummier with more variety.

When you’re done eating you just get your QR card and pay at the machine near the exit. Easy and smooth process.

We had good and quick breakfast at this grilled fish specialist restaurant and ordered the grilled salmon and grilled mackerel breakfast sets. Both are good, filling and healthy choices for breakfast. They cost around ¥ 500-600 each, so really good value for your money. I ordered additional minced tuna tartare, which only costs around ¥ 90 - surely good price for it.

The place is not big and we sat the second floor above the main floor. You order by tablet device on the table and they have English option. Once finished, you pay using QR Code card available on your table and confirmed the ordered items and total costs to pay at the payment station / machine. You can pay with cash and V/MC cards at the payment station that looks like ATM in...

We had our dinner here during dinner time on a Tuesday night. It has 2 levels, where the upper level can accommodate larger guest numbers sitting around a table, although there are only 4 tables on that level. The lower level are for guests sitting along the bar counter.

Prices are very reasonable, and they are delicious. Food were served timely without delays. We ordered the teriyaki chicken, pork and grilled salmon. Recommended for quality meals...
