The foods are delicious. White radish soaked all the flavour of the soup so soft yet stiff enough for you to pick it with chopstick.

Service is good too but the problem is communication, people even us don't understand at the first place why we can't sit when there were empty spaces, maybe putting a 'Reserved' plate at the seat will solve the misunderstanding?

Also, we were willing to wait for a seat but it was a headache to communicate with the staff about how long we have to wait at first. Luckily, Google translate helped, in fact the staff are very friendly and I can see her tried very hard to think how to tell me this info in English,. Again, maybe a board with pre set English message on it to tell customers about these kind of information?

The price is reasonable, we ordered a dozen of dishes and 2 drinks costed us 6700yen, of course I can't say we were very full at that point but it was enough for a late...

We had a very unpresented dinner at the たこ梅本店 last night, both of my husband and me are not Japanese. However, my husband did speak in Japanese to ask for recommending menu. The Japanese guy next to us were laughing at the way that my husband asked and spoke very laudly to the one who took our order and saying we did not understand what we ordered. The most disappointed was the reaction of the guy who took our order was kinda agreed what the guy said.

If do not welcome or interested foreigners to your restaurant, you should have to put the sign outside. Otherwise, you shall have to protect your guests when someone do not really understand your menu. I had a pretty confusing experience here as I was perfectly pleasant to the older bartender, yet he responded with eye rolls and sighing and shaking his head when we had language barrier issues. He was extremely passive aggressive anytime I tried to place an order. The place was utterly empty aside from his friend sat at the bar. Not only that, but it was obvious that the bartender and his friend were mocking my attempts at ordering in Japanese. I don’t understand why someone who hates foreigners would open a restobar on Dotonbori Street of all places. If you are a foreigner, I would 100% avoid coming here.
