The original butchikiri sushi Uoshin Umeda branch — Restaurant in Osaka

Service: Pretty bad. You order on your phone and if you take too long, the waiters will rush you. The waiter came up and asked us what we are doing while I had the menu open and was still selecting items. The chef also stares you down while you eat. The entire vibe was that they don't like foreigners and want you to hurry up and leave. The restaurant wasnt full and we ate and left in an hour, so not sure why they were eyeing us to leave. It was only 2 of us at the bar seating so we did not take up much space and both of us felt creeped out.

This was the most unwelcoming restaurant that I have been to in Japan.

Quality: Sushi is average 2.5 stars. They give large pieces of sushi on the nigiri with basically no rice. It would have been nice if they added more rice as you are basically eating sashimi.

Menu: The menu that is posted all over google maps is the lunch menu. It is pretty misleading as its the only menu shown online and it is also the only menu advertised at the door. The non lunch menu is...

The famous sushi with huge fish portion on top. Uoshin in one of legendary sushi place, it well-known among the tourist and local. The restaurant located in the Umeda food street, where you will find many restaurant here. Uoshin is a must try sushi in Osaka, you will amazed with the size of the sushi. Sushi and Sashimi is real astonishing, widely selection of fish and seafood menu offered. Taste is amazingly flavorful and umami, you can feel the freshness from the sea and the quality of fish that they used is top. Everything is served fresh and cook it when you ordered. Recommend menu is assorted sushi, raw sashimi and clam, it's very delicious and fill up you stomach easily. The price of the sushi at Uoshin is a bit higher than another sushi restaurant, but with portion you will get totally worth it. Seriously, do not go there. 여기 진짜 가지마세요.(혐한 당하고 왔습니다)

They cheat the orders when we take away the sushi. We ordered around 5000¥ sushi but they gave us 2000¥ amount of sushi especially except high-priced sushi :(

The next day, we called the restaurant and check our orders up. But they said they cannot refund, only can give sushi what they omit.

We don't have any choice so that we just go the shop and take the sushi again.

However, the chief and owner no one apologized to us. They were acting like racist and neglect us especially the chief who made the sushi.

Furthermore, the sushi isn't fresh. It's really fishy. I bet they use low-quality ingredients.

I'm never gonna visit here again.
