Ashiyu cafe & bar Donyoku — Restaurant in Tokyo

An LGBT friendly (and owned?) place. The decoration is lovely, and there are 'foot baths' ; a place where you sit and let your feet enjoy a pool of water while you enjoy your drinks or food. Original and cozy. The owners do not speak English and my Japanese is very poor so I didn't make any friends or conversation, but it was nice to be surrounded by LGBT people for a while during my trip. There also were a group of westerners having a chat about a book on one of the table, so I suspect there are meetings for LGBT...

A great place! Very warm and welcoming, chill with hammocks and foot bath. Also great cappuccinos and hot cocoa, and craft beers! I had my birthday party here (~20 people) and the staff was lovely and helped make up a plan with food and drinks, even made sure there was vegan food for my vegan friend. I highly recommend this place, for a cup of coffee, a cute date, or some cosy time...

This is a hidden gem for the weary traveler. The foot baths are amazing and so is the food! We had the french toast, salad, and sandwich which were all delicious.
