We were nearing the end of our two week Japan trip and wanted to try something else other than Japanese food. We saw this place in a mall and was skeptical at first, but their pictures looked good and prices were decent, so we thought why not. Unfortunately, they did not serve walk-ins that day so we immediately made reservations for the next day (highly recommend you do so too). When we arrived the next day, we were greeted by the host and got seated promptly. Our waiter explained that all paellas took about 20-30 mins (which is very common) and that they have a per person cover charge that comes with a side snack of olives (otooshi-very common in Japanese restaurants). Our seafood paella was amazing and is a must! The seafood flavor was amazing! The callos was so good we ordered a second one. The octopus was a little under seasoned for my taste and slightly overcooked, but everything was overall excellent and we are very glad we took a chance on this place. I highly recommend it if you wanna try something...
Read moreThe menu out the front of the business is misleading. It states certain pricing and then when you’re invited to sit down inside the dinner menu is considerably more expensive. I sat down and ordered a beer, the beer came quickly, which was great. However as I looked over the menu in more detail. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted and it was considerable more expensive. So we decided to leave after no more than 7mins. I went to pay, and they charged me for two people sitting down at the table which made the one beer I had 1600 yen. I questioned the person at the front and he stood firm and wouldn’t budge on this. Just a warning to other tourists who cannot speak or the read the language. This was one of my first experiences in Tokyo and it wasn’t a pleasant one. No doubt the food and service is great here, but this unwelcome extra charge was...

The overcooked fish and the shrimp were like eating mushy paste. Then surprisingly, the rice was undercooked so it was a bit crunchy. Flavor was just salty. Worst was the crab, and its broken shells that got into the rice. Very unpleasant and had to spit out the food a few times.
Either it was a bad night for them or they don’t quite know how to cook paella.
The salad was decent at least; and for the 400yen x 2 cover charge, they gave you some very good tasting olives. The sangria was a bit different, but still tasted very refreshing.
Service otherwise was good. The staff were very friendly and...
