Inside GINZA SIX, there are many different options for food. We decided to go with French, as the atmosphere looked very welcoming and we had yet to try French cuisine in Japan. We waited for around 10 minutes to be seated, which was impressive considering how busy they were.
We decided to go with the dinner set menu, and ordered from the dishes available. I ordered the seafood terrine (at this time it was lobster), while my partner ordered the wagyu beef carpaccio. I was thoroughly impressed by both the presentation and taste of the terrine, as it was intricate and fresh. Next was the corn soup, very creamy and surprisingly tasty for such a simple looking dish. We both had the duck cassoulet, which was cooked to perfection - the meat was fall-off-the-bone, and paired perfectly with the bean stew it was served on. We finished with two refreshing desserts, almond pudding and a white wine jelly.
The service was fantastic, our waiters were very attentive and tried their best to accommodate us and explain the dishes. I was even given a blanket for extra comfort. I highly recommend this restaurant and I hope...

Hits: Extra large charcuterie portions can be ordered for no extra charge. The portions are very generous. Pan fried fish in seafood bouillabaisse was generous and was a big hit with the youngins The Partridge dish was the highlight of the meal for me. The roasted breast meat was succulent and flavorful. The accompanying mini meat pie was scrumptious and contained a combination mix of dark meat with liver. Misses: We got 2 orders of duck leg confit and both were dry. I'm not sure how a fatty duck leg aged and cooked in fat could end up dry but it did.
Overall it was a great experience and I...
Read moreCame by this restaurant previously but it was full so we tried our luck again walking in and they had seats. Although they offer a set menu, we went for ala carte as the set menu was quite limited. We had roasted lamb and beef bourguignon. The portions aren't large but it's just nice I think. The lamb was slightly fatty, I didn't eat about 30% of it. But the flavours for both dishes are delicious. We also tried the apple pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The pie is cold, guess it's Japan's style, and it was still yummy. Would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for...
