Yakitori Tokyo Imaiya — Restaurant in Tokyo

Avoid this place. It is extremely overpriced with little quality control on what they serve up. You have to pay a cover charge of 630 yen per person on sitting down before anything happens. For that, they bring you a meagre dish, which, to be fair, was edible, but tiny. They should be ashamed of themselves for the pathetic edamame dish they served up as our ordered appetiser - I’ve lived in Japan 36-years and I have never come across such scrawny, malnourished beans. An egg dish we ordered was rubbery, but a few of the other things were OK, but really overpriced. For each thing on the menu, it is the price per stick, which ramps up the costs even more. The table was tiny and the bench-like seats were terribly uncomfortable and we were crammed in near other diners. If you are lucky enough to be uncomfortably plonked near the window, you will get a view of Tokyo station. Considering their huge prices, they fail to deliver by a country mile. We ordered a few dishes planning to order more, but it was that bad we left early and still hungry. Our bill came to nearly 8,000 yen and the only drink we had was one tiny glass of overpriced oolong cha. Take my advice and DO NOT GO HERE. Ordered a 5 peice omakase and the skewers came out very slowly. Between 5 to even 15 minutes in between each skewer when the restaurant wasn't even busy. There's a $600~ yen cover charge and the food is quite pricy. It was good tasting but nothing special. Our bill came out close to 10000 yen for 2 people. Given the price I would not come...

お料理は少なめですが、一つ一つがとても美味しく、景色もとても良いお店だったのに、女性スタッフの方の接客態度がひどく残念で大変不愉快なため一時間で店を出ました。

•席だけ予約にしたのでアラカルトで注文。こちらもまとめて注文できなかったのは悪いのですが、串を注文する時にA「◯◯一本」B「あ、わたしも一本〜」というやりとりをしたところ、やや小馬鹿にした態度で鼻で笑いながら「あの、合計で言ってもらっていいですか？」と言われる。 もちろんおっしゃる通りなのですが、接客業にはあるまじき大変不快な振る舞い

•びっくりするくらい食器を大きな音を立てて置く

•注文したものは持ってきてくれるが、空いたグラスや皿を全く下げてくれない

•該当の女性以外の男性スタッフは接客態度よかった（空いたグラスやお皿も感じよくテキパキ持って行ってくださいました）

差し出がましいことですが、オーダーを取るのに大変で接客時にあのような態度をされるのであれば、席だけ予約の席には注文内容が全員分で決まり次第まとめて注文をお願いします等注意書きを置いておいたり、注文内容を席で書き込める注文票をおいたりする工夫も検討されたらいかがでしょうか？（それか飲み物のように全部ネットオーダーで通してもいいと思います）それが難しいようであれば、アラカルトの予約を受け付けない方が無難ではないでしょうか。(こちらも反省として、この店の再来はありませんが、串焼きなど頼む時は必ず全員分まとめて注文するように気をつけたいと思います。)
