Are French toast made of hamburger buns worth it? 🤔
First time seeing this, a burger shop using their brioche buns to make French toast
Passed by this touristy looking spot hundreds of times but never stepped inside. I did have a meh burger from the shop above them
Was super skeptical but wanted to give them a fair shot. Here’s some positive mixed thoughts 😗
The French toast come out pretty thin cuz they are buns. Despite that they were pretty fluffy and could be cut without a knife
They come with light whip cream, which was perfect ✌️, and warm honey butter, which I did not love 🫠
Overall pleasantly surprised 😮 Would recommend for taste alone
The slight negative? Given what they are, I do think that almost 1800 post tax, they are pricy. Hamburger buns worth French toast should be 1200, maybe 1400 post tax 😗
As a positive they do offer cheap set drinks starting at around 300 yen
One drink per person required after 4pm or on weekdays

This place has desserts, coffee, food, and alcoholic drinks. The portion sizes for food and dessert are great with good value for money. The salmon avocado rice bowl is my favourite lunch item, it was brilliantly made. The burgers are very generously portioned, and also delicious. The soft drinks are on the expensive side (and not the highest quality, hence 1 star dropped), but the alcoholic beverages are reasonably priced.

I recommend the French toast. It’s a bit unorthodox to make it with hamburger buns, but the buns are made of Brioche bread, and it’s cooked very well.
The fries are the skinny McDonald’s type but they’re fried with fresh cooking oil and are not too salty.
There was some miscommunication with staff involving dessert items coming out before the entree, but this was partly my fault. Next time I’ll order the entree first and then call the waiter/waitress over to order my dessert.
I’d come back here if I’m craving a big...
