Caffè Veloce - Asakusabashi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I visited this café on my first day in Japan and, despite the language barrier, the staff went out of their way to understand me. They were incredibly kind and patient, making the experience smooth and comfortable. I ordered the chocolate waffle with a coffee latte, both of which were delicious. It was an awesome experience here. I mainly came here for the WiFi since my hotel WiFi was pretty bad. The food here is quite good but they put a lot of ice in their drinks and you finish the drink really quickly. Their sandwiches are nice and their portion size is average. The ambience here is really good and the interior of the store looks really inviting. They even have indicators for the washrooms so that you don't have to wait to use it. Great place for travelers: inexpensive food with coffee for breakfast, lots of room to hang out, free passworded wifi to plan your day. You can grab fridge items at the front of the line to buy and/or you can order items from a list.

There was no english speaking staff when I was here but you can just point to what you want, pay, and take your stuff upstairs to eat/drink.

I'll definitely be coming back during my trip for cafe drinks...
