STAY AWAY! Well.. my first review on Google ever… and this place is just horrid. In my many years of traveling around the world I have never experienced worse service! Save your money (coffee is some of the most expensive) and time… rude and very unwelcoming staff. Ordered a cup of coffee to take away and was checking some info on the phone for a minute. Was sternly asked to leave because coffee was ordered for takeout! There were no other customers at the shop at the time! Bad vibes! After having read other reviews, understood that this seems to be their “modus operandi” Rude, bad attitude and condescending!
PS to your Chat GPT response. This is not a trial. You are not in a position to prosecute your customers. lol. You need an urgent check with reality.Your false sense of self righteousness is irrelevant. You are not entitled for anything, for being 100% in the wrong definitely not. Fascinating that you remember me from my visit, which also tells me that you are 1. Not getting many customers.. 2. Know that your behavior and attitude are unprofessional and very condescending. We ,as customers, are supposed to be right? Or nah? You are a coffee shop not an institution to uphold any “moral values” maybe dial down on your bad attitudes and you’ll get more customers who will leave you better reviews. Although a very concept of “being nice” to people in general is probably something way beyond your simple comprehension. Can’t wish you to fare well as this is something that needs to be earned...
Read moreStumbled on this quaint cafe quite accidentally even though I passed by the street a few times within 2 days straight. I saw a note on the bench outside saying something along the line “please enjoy the view” which was neat. I ordered a cappuccino and my daughter sat down, she didn’t want any drink because we just had late lunch, even though they provide kids friendly menu. As I sipped my coffee I read all the notes in the cafe , its not often you’d see this but I tend to appreciate it because I do enjoy being in a quiet place. And Asakusa is always very, overcrowded and overwhelming. I’m glad the owners provided a silent, and clean place to rest, have some quiet thoughts . My mistake was I didn’t bring any book to enjoy with my coffee. Finding a quiet cafe with a nice cup of coffee is not an easy task these days.
My daughter enjoyed her “quiet time” as well and she made the most noise in the cafe with her chuckles watching cartoons.
Thank you for your hospitality, the cappuccino was warm & delightful. Hope to be back next time & try your...
Read moreHostile staff, just read the countless reviews saying the same thing. 1000 and 1 rules, I get it every store has their own rules but maybe think about the way you communicate these to paying customer I.e interrupting mid order to tell me not to drink my outside drink in the store. Paid 1000 yen for tea which was possibly the most diluted tea you’ll ever have the misfortune of tasting
EDIT There was one other customer in the shop sitting to the back and ‘the lady’ filmed at the entrance, no where near the other customer so to say privacy was the issue is factually incorrect. Also the lady did not say she wanted to rest, she ordered the tea because you rudely said everyone has to order a drink to sit indoors. Maybe you should spend more time focusing on your customer service and less time on Google reviews or better yet visit some of the local coffee shops and see how to run a good business. Save your hard earned money everyone go...
