⭐ Rating: a strong 4.8/5

Ginza Duck Soba Kyudaime Keisuke is truly a unique place, one that stands out even in a city filled with countless ramen shops. The duck ramen has an exceptionally rich and intense flavor, absolutely outstanding and unlike any other bowl I’ve tried before.

The broth is full-bodied, deeply satisfying, and perfectly balanced, showing incredible craftsmanship. The wonton dumplings are simply delicious, adding a wonderful texture and flavor to the dish. The duck itself is delicate, tender, and yet incredibly flavorful, something truly extraordinary that elevates the whole experience.

As I enjoyed my meal, I couldn’t help but wonder why there aren’t long lines in front of this shop, unlike so many other ramen places we passed by on the way. Perhaps it’s because of the slightly higher price, but honestly, the taste and quality here are on a different level. In my opinion, it is absolutely worth spending a bit more for such a remarkable culinary experience. This is not just a bowl of ramen, it’s a memorable encounter with flavors that linger long...

This duck ramen specialty store took me by surprise! What an incredible, unique flavour. I loved my duck ramen with thick soup base "#6". I don't know what the other things in it were if I'm being honest, lol. I would rate it in my top 3 Ramen places around the world! Other stores local to here their lines were out the door, was nice to walk in whilst the other stores had 30+ minute waits. P.S I had one of the others, and it too was worth the wait... But honestly, duck ramen is so much more unique and the taste in my opinion is incredible. I just want to go back for more! Glad I gave it a shot! You may need help with vending machine but they can provide english menu which has the numbers and its quite a...

This place serves duck flavored ramen. If you’re not used to duck flavor, it’s mildly gamey. I like duck flavor and had better hence the 4 stars.

HOW TO ORDER: walk through the entrance and there is a vending machine to the left. Insert Cash - any denomination because the machine will give you change. No credit card or anything else. Select your ramen. The machine will give you a ticket. At the very bottom of the machine buttons, there is a “change” button. Push it to get your change. Sit and wait for your duck ramen. When ramen arrives, eat and slurp as loud as you can! The louder the more respect you’re giving the chef! Slurp...

Found this Ramen place near my hotel and it caught my attention as it serves Duck - not the first protein you think of when you think Japanese Ramen. I opted for the clear broth as I had spent the day exploring Tokyo so didn't want anything too heavy. It was a great choice as the clear broth was flavourful, energy restoring and easy on the stomach. The duck slices were nicely cooked and without any gamey smell. The special bowl l got also had a tempura vegetable, an egg yolk (duck?), mince ball (duck?)and bamboo shoots. My choice of thicker noodles were cooked perfectly al dente.
