I’m sorry to say some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten. I’ve travelled extensively and eaten at low priced establishments and Michelin star restaurants.
Perhaps I ordered incorrectly so if you’re reading this then perhaps just avoid these dishes. Chicken skin was revolting, cold and with a strange sauce it was the first dish and so we tried to eat it being polite but just couldn’t handle it. Next was some cucumber with miso, I thought it was going to be nice since we’d had it in harijuku the night before but it was very bad, then came the sirloin skewer. This was good, I started to feel a bit better about the meal and thought it might get better from here. Unfortunately the next thing to arrive was shockingly bad, some kind of gelatinous pork wrapped skewer, it was slightly sweet but really with the consistency of a marshmallow. Finally they sent some yakitori and a chicken rice bowl. Frankly I’ve never had chicken like it, I am ashamed to say I had to spit some of the chicken out which is frowned upon in most countries but none as much as Japan I would imagine! Finally we left quickly before they could serve the final item we had ordered.
In addition to this everyone around us was being served food extremely quickly and I was really confused as to why ours was taking so long.
I’d love to say it was excellent but it was unfortunately it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The people working there were friendly but the service was slow and as above the food was not to my personal liking. The beer was okay but...

🆓 First they welcomed us with complimentary crackers and a delightful sour cream dip 😍, setting a friendly and relaxed tone for the meal ahead.
🍢 The assorted skewers were truly the highlight of the evening. Each skewer was perfectly grilled, showcasing the high quality of the ingredients. The Chicken Thigh with Green Onion was juicy and flavorful, while the Chicken Tail offered a deliciously crispy texture. The Chicken with Shiso Leaf & Plum Sauce was a delightful combination of fresh and tangy flavors, and the Chicken Neck was a surprising favorite, tender and succulent. The Beef Side Skirt with Radish Sauce was another standout, rich and savory with a refreshing twist from the radish. 😋
🥃 To top it off, i paired the meal with a glass of salty plum wine, which complemented the skewers beautifully. Helps balance the richness of the meats, making each bite even more enjoyable. 😁
Overall, this izakaya yakitori + beef restaurant provided an excellent dining experience. The friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and thoughtful extras like the complimentary crackers and sour cream made it a night to remember. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful yakitori experience in Tokyo!

Read moreMade a reservation for 930pm on a Sunday. I ended shopping earlier so I tried to enquire if I can enter but was turned away so I came back at my reservation time. Seems like walk ins at that time was available as many people just queued up.
Place isn’t big but many cosy seats available, mostly around the open kitchen where you can see the master chef at work.
I was solo dining and wanted to try a few items. Ordered a whole bunch and barely managed to finish it. Probably would have not ordered the potato salad and I would be alright.
Potato salad was fun though, you get to mash it up yourself. The giant onion ring was lighter than expected and was really good on its own, pair it with the dip and I couldn’t get enough. Chicken nanban used a chicken breast I believe, not as tender as I would like. Skewers were good but not mind blowing. No one skewer really stood out for me.
Total bill came up to 6400Yen, including tax and a 550 yen table charge. You do however get a complimentary cream cheese and biscuit plate.
It did help that the waitress were pretty as well and the...
