I stopped by “Hong Kong Roji” for lunch on a whim. Most of the lunch menu items are priced around 1,000 yen, making them very affordable. The menu offers a wide variety of options, which made it hard to decide. In the end, I chose the braised pork rice (Lu Rou Fan) over the fried chicken with soy sauce (Yurinchi).
Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was incredibly quick, making it perfect for a lunch break during work. The Lu Rou Fan had a rich, well-seasoned flavor, and the hint of star anise was perfectly balanced. It was delicious! I do wish there had been a bit more meat, but with soup included at just 1,000 yen, the value for money is outstanding.
