Kappo Sanyuu — Restaurant in Tokyo

This area seems to fill with mostly locals and not a lot of foreigners. I came 30 minutes after they opened and there were about 3 people in front of me. It was during lunch time so about 4-6 people were behind me in a span of 5 minutes. I waited about 10-15 mins to get a seat.

First off, the service was really good. They asked me if it’s okay if I share a table with a customer before they sat me down and I was okay with it. The food only took about 5-10 mins to come out which was great.

Secondly, I ordered 3 pieces of oysters. I saw most locals ordered only 2 pieces of oysters. I was hungry that day. Let me tell you, each of those fried oyster contained probably 2-3 small oysters inside (like most reviewers said). It was actually a lot and i finished with a filled belly. I recommend ordering 2 pieces if you are hungry and not too hungry.

The oysters tasted good. I think fried oysters are usually less tasty than raw oysters? I put sea salt on the oysters and it tasted much better. I watched how the locals eat and copied them :)

Overall, the food was good and satisfied my cravings. I am a big fan of raw oysters with lemon on top. I only had fried oysters once prior to this experience so it’s hard for me to say judge the taste. I recommend giving this restaurant a try if you are craving for oysters. It’s definitely...

Expect to wait at least 30 minutes if you don't get there early. You are given a chip with the numbers 2 written on one side and 3 on the other indicating the number of fried oysters you want. 三友名物爆弾カキフライは4/26までです！食べていない方はお早めに！

人形町駅から徒歩3分、 定食の百名店 「割烹 三友」を2年半ぶりに訪問。 平日お昼のみの営業です。

平日の開店20分前に到着のところポール。 オープンと同時に入店できました。 この日は珍しく並びが少なく、10名ちょっとで 全員一巡目で入店できました。

三友カキフライ3個定食 1,580円を注文。 お高めの料金に見えますが、カキフライは1個に 広島産牡蠣を7個使用しているので実はコスパ抜群です。女性は2個定食を頼む方が多いです。

お店には「今シーズンのカキフライは4/26（金）までです。」とのお知らせが。 9月まではオフシーズンですので、食べたい方は お早めに！

15分くらいで巨大なカキフライが提供されました。

一口で4分の1位しか頬張れませんが、 噛むと同時に牡蠣のエキスが勢いよく口の中に 吹き出しましす。衣はサクサク、身は牡蠣汁ジュワー でとても美味しいです。 旨味たっぷりなのでソースも塩も不用です。

唯一無二のカキフライですね！
